Raghu is a musician. He plays the accordion, the banjo, and the guitar.

"Making a living as a musician can be a challenging thing... I think the hardest part is feeling that you're doing what you want to do... You can do what comes along in terms of work and in terms of jobs, in terms of playing and sometimes what you really feel passionate about and want to do can get lost or it can be a struggle to find that thing. "

"There's a kind of special connection of being in what people might consider to be a relatively smaller and remote place in the sense that you're all kind of in it together... There's a really nice sense of camaraderie about it... I feel very connected to people who choose to stay here and play music here."

"Being in a place like Prince George might not be an obvious place to be as a musician... Places like Vancouver, there are people there who might've never even been to Prince George or know where it is. So the sense of all being in kind of an unlikely place that other people might dismiss or not even know exists, it gives you a certain bond."

"My project lately, as I've said in the last few years hasn't been so much musical. In the last year, during this whole COVID thing, I've been kind of doing a review- I've been writing for many years I have hundreds of notebooks I've kept for many many years, and so I thought maybe I should read through all this stuff. So that's what I've been doing for a year is kind of reading through all my papers, and all my note books maybe just to take stock of what I've done and also just to kind of maybe clarify to myself where I want to go from here as an artist, which I'm not exactly sure about at the moment."

In his spare time, Raghu likes to walk his dog, garden, read, write, and watch movies.
